Where our website went, and what's going on now

So, you might have missed us! Or you’re visiting for the first time in a month, and you’ve only just realised our site has a few things missing.

To bring our website back into service temporarily, we’ve made some changes, slimmed down the functionality and removed access to Reward Points and to previous order history. We’re also in the process of re-adding some of the newer product additions too.

Don’t worry, it’ll all return to normal, it’ll just take us a little longer to get things back to 100%.

It started with a fire

During the early hours of 10th March, a fire broke out at our hosts data centre in Strasbourg, France. By 8am, the flames had destroyed a building, damaged another and managed to fill the top two floors of another with thick acrid smoke. As a result, a massive part of Europe’s internets sites, online gaming went dark.

Now, you might ask where the sprinklers when all this happened? Well, water (or pretty much any fire suppressant) and expensive IT hardware don’t really mix. The alarms were raised in good time, but thick smoke and massive amounts of heat prevented fire officers getting it under control.

STANDARD UK DELIVERY

All orders placed before 3.00pm Monday-Friday and before 11.00am on Saturdays will be dispatched the same day.  Orders placed after 3.00pm (11am on Saturday) or on Sunday will be dispatched the next working day.

Orders below the value of £20 are subject to a £3.65 delivery fee. Orders over £20 are delivered for free as Royal Mail Tracked 24.

We offer a range of enhanced postage options which are outlined below. LOCAL SAME DAY DELIVERY (RUGBY ONLY)

All local orders (CV21, CV22, CV23 with some exclusions) placed before 11.00am Monday-Saturday will be dispatched the same day and delivered by our own fleet of vehicles. Orders placed after 11.00am Monday to Saturday or on Sunday will be dispatched and delivered the next working day.

Orders over £20 are delivered for free.
